Antique Hand Blown Cut Glass Decanter
A faceted vertical cut body with rococo style gilded floral garlands and the most wonderful gilt edged faceted heart-shaped stopper.
It would have originally been used for storing and decanting fine cordials or liqueurs.
Originating from France and probably dating to the late 18th century period during the reign of Louis XVI. Circa 1780.
The decanter is in good vintage condition with no serious issues and wear throughout commensurate with age including some rubbing to the gilding and some minor nibbles.
Approximate measurements: 25cm high x 7cm diameter at the widest point.
