Simple stylish lines with a large hoop back, generous seat and arms and turned legs separated by a simple H- stretcher
Completely handmade and charming slightly off with the angles, providing a slightly primitive feel.
Stamped with the maker’s initials ‘H.J.’ or potentially ‘H.Y.’ on the back.
Not sure of the exact date but potentially late 19th or possibly early 20th century.
It is in very good vintage condition, there is no real damage to speak of, there is wear as you would expect and all joints feel strong.
Measuring 109cm high x 62cm wide x 61cm deep. The seat height is roughly 45cm.
