Antique Upholstered Carpet Chair

Carpet upholstered seat and back with velvet upholstered arms, back and sides.

An unusual shape with the arched wings.

On an oak frame with turned front legs and simpler splayed rear legs united by lateral stretches and raised on the original brass and porcelain casters.

Probably dating from the late Victorian period, 1880-1900.

The chair is in well-used country house condition and has some wear throughout. It is being sold as seen. The bones on the chair appear to be in good vintage order and it is solid and sturdy.

Measuring 97cm high x 84cm wide x 80cm deep. The seat height is roughly 39cm.
