Large Pair of Curtains

A floral chintz fabric designed by Givenchy, Paris, based on a 19th-century design and produced for them by high-quality 20th-century fabric manufacturer Fabriyaz.

Probably dating from the mid-late 20th Century. Circa 1960s-1990s.

The curtains are well made and heavy with a full fleece blanket interlining and then backed with cotton lining. They both have curtain heading strips ready to hang.

They are in very good vintage condition, the edges have some sunlight fading. On one of the curtains the backing panel has worn through down one edge, this isn’t noticeable when hanging.

Approximate measurements 263cm/ 104“ total drop. Laid flat each curtain is 192cm/ 75 1/2“ wide, both together would be a total of 384cm/ 151“ wide.
