Vintage Shag Rug

A woven rug with a deep shag pile of mainly green ground with bands of yellow and brown flecked with black. With a linear black and rep4taed circle design.

Dating from the 1960s/1970s period.

Remnants of the original label on the reverse state, Axminster construction with an 80% wool 20% nylon blend also states it has been mothproofed for life and it was made in the UK by Anderson Thompson.

The rug itself is in very good vintage condition with wear commensurate with age but no serious defects.

Measuring 205cm x 137cm.
