Vintage Quilt
A very decorative double-sided quilt. Completely hand stitched with contrasting squares of striped creamy white and indigo silk, with a contrasting central diamond and corners with slightly grey/blue squares.
Matching striped edging strips with a fringe.
Looks equally good as a wall hanging or used as a quilt or bedspread.
Unsure of exact origin, but probably dating from the early 20th century period. Circa 1900-1930s.
It is in very good vintage condition with no significant structural issues, rips/tears, etc., but has some signs of wear throughout commensurate with age and use.
Approximate measurements 213cm x 154cm or 84” x 61”.
