Antique Crystal Glassware

A large punch bowl and a matching set of six stemmed glasses.

Handblown clear glass with an almost gold champagne tinge to the colour. Full of wonderful little imperfections like air bubbles, etc., from the manufacturing process.

Naturalistic hand enamelled decoration with stylised floral sprays and foliage, perhaps some form of blossom which could quite easily be blackberry or similar, with gilding on the rim and base.

French in origin, in the manner of St. Louis crystal.

Probably dating from the late 19th century, circa 1880.

They are in great vintage condition, there is no significant damage. I can’t find any chips or cracks. There are imperfections throughout, which add to their charm and some handling wear, e.g rubbed gilding in places.

Punch bowl - 28cm high x 23cm diameter.

Each glass - 11.5cm high x 7cm diameter.
