Mid Century Architect’s Drawing Board Table

Fully adjustable up and down as well as tilting from an almost vertical position to a horizontal flat table with horizontal sliding ruler.

A heavy cast iron and oak base.

Made by Angula and probably dating from the 1950s.

At some point, the previous owner has updated the board to be backlit, illuminating a large opaque perspex section from a recessed box with light fittings within.

It is in good vintage condition with wear throughout commensurate with age and use. The adjustable functions all work as they should, as does the weighted ruler.

Being completely adjustable it is difficult to provide definitive measurements. The drawing board itself measures approximately 123cm x 90cm. Overall the piece measures approximately 135cm wide x 153-175cm high x 57cm deep.
