Antique English Regency Painted Pine Side Table, Original Paint, Early 19th Century

Antique English Regency Painted Pine Side Table, Original Paint, Early 19th Century
Antique Side Table
Constructed of pine with turned front legs and square back legs with a frieze drawer with its original turned wooden handles.
In its original paint of a yellow ochre ground with hand-painted faux grain paintwork emulating birdseye maple.
Circa 1830-1840 in date, straddling the late Regency, George IV/William IV or possibly the early Victorian period.
The table is in good vintage condition. It is solid and sturdy and the drawer runs smoothly. There is cosmetic wear and natural patina throughout which we think adds to its charm and aesthetic. At some point in its life a gallery has been removed from the top of the table to convert it into a flat-topped table. There is a small amount of old, dead woodworm present to one edge of the top. We have treated the piece for good measure
Approximate measurements 106cm wide x 51cm deep x 69cm high.
