Vintage Danish Lilac Leather Sofa by Mogens Hansen, Mid-Late 20th Century

Vintage Danish Lilac Leather Sofa by Mogens Hansen, Mid-Late 20th Century
Vintage Leather Sofa
Made by high-quality Danish manufacturer Mogens Hansen.
Upholstered in a soft lilac/greyish purple leather with a generous and comfortable seat and cushions stuffed with a mix of feather, down and polyester, raised on simple square stained solid wooden legs.
Known by the company as a two-and-a-half-seater, somewhere in between the two-seater loveseat and the longer three-seater. Realistically, you can potentially sit three people on this model with relative ease.
Dating from the mid to late 20th century, circa 1970s-1980s in date.
It is in very good vintage condition with wear commensurate with age. The frame is solid and sturdy. The leather is free from any significant damage but is worn throughout with scuffs, scratches and natural fading of colour etc. This is part of the reason we fell for it and we think it’s hugely decorative as it is but it could quite easily be rejuvenated with a leather conditioning product to bring it back to its original finish.
Approximate measurements: 195cm wide x 82cm deep x 75cm high. The seat height is roughly 45cm.
