Mid-Century Lounge Chair
An iconic design by the legendary American husband and wife team.
The LCM or ‘Lounge Chair Metal’ was designed by the pair in 1946/1947.
This is an early Herman Miller example, stamped with Herman Miller logo on the rubber bushings.
probably dating from the 1950s-1960s period.
Black lacquered ply on a chrome base.
In good original condition, it is solid and sturdy, there is some cosmetic wear commensurate with age as you would expect with some oxidization to the chrome and some wear to the lacquer, etc.
Approximate measurements 60cm high x 55cm wide x 67cm deep. The seat height is 40cm.
