Vintage Organic Form Brutalist Elm Side Table With Shelf, 1950s
Mid Century Circular Side/Lamp/Occasional Table
Constructed from thick gauge slabs of solid elm with slightly irregular circular shapes and flared legs casting an organic formed chunky silhouette.
Very much in the post-war brutalist taste.
Unsigned but probably either French Belgian or Dutch in origin. The design is very much in the style of Finnish designer Olavi Hänninen for the French firm Aranjou.
Probably dating from the mid 20th century period circa 1940s-1950s.
The table is in very good vintage condition with only minor wear commensurate with age.
Approximate measurements 60cm wide at the base x 54cm deep at the base x 64cm high. The diameter of the top is roughly 56cm.
