Antique Glazed Ceramic Drug Storage Jar
An original 18th-century glazed ceramic drug jar or ‘albarello’.
Of waisted form with hand-painted polychrome crest and script reading ‘DICT CRETIC’.
It is in very good vintage condition for its age, there are no cracks or areas of restoration, as is typical for a pot like this there are a few grazes to the glaze around the rim and the foot and one chip to the foot.
Measuring 20cm high x 11cm diameter.
