We have four of these uprights available to buy as a lot.
Beautiful sculptural items in their own right, they look fab hung on our wall but could also be used to make something, possibly a gazebo or trellis in the garden.
All hand painted with a pale duck egg blue background with white pinstripes and red carved out sections.
They all have their original brackets and fixings on them so could be hung easily, they also look fab leaning up against a wall.
They are great interior design pieces for bars, restaurants or in the home.
I would say they date from the 1930s-1950s period.
Each one measures: 251cm long X 5cm X 5cm (excluding brackets).
The uprights are all in good vintage order. As genuine items used over the years on a fairground they have some wear and tear to them as you would expect. We believe this adds to their overall charm. Please see photos.
