Hand Made WWII Copper Screen 

A truly unique, one off item here in the form of a fire screen. Completely hand made and probably dating from the second world war period. The front panel is made from a single sheet of copper with a naively beaten Winston Churchill in profile on a textured background. It is framed in copper and sites on two simple copper pipe feet. 

The wooden backing seems to be made from an old sign which could have possibly said 'Churchill' as the letters 'R.C.H.' are visible. 

It really is an unusual piece that would look excellent in a gentleman's club or next to a fireplace in an eclectic interior.

It is in good vintage condition, and is solid and sturdy, the copper could be polished up more to a shine or left to go dull whatever suits you. Please see photographs.
