Antique French Wall Hanging Sign

Originally from a French butcher’s shop (Boucherie).

Detailing the different cuts of meat available and their daily price.

Hand-painted on a wooden panel with blue, black and red calligraphy on an off-white background. The metal holders for the prices are present as are a large quantity of the removable numbers in different styles.

In its original simple wooden frame.

A decorative piece that would work well in a kitchen, restaurant or indeed butcher’s shop.

Dating from the early 20th century period, circa 1900-1940.

It is in very good vintage condition with no structural issues and wear commensurate with age which adds to its aesthetic.

Measuring 77cm wide x 66cm high x 3cm deep.
