Antique Gilt Bronze Rococo Style Vanity Mirror
Recently picked up in Arles in Provence.
Thick, original bevelled glass.
Naturalistic, swirling rococo style decoration.
Good quality, crisp casting.
It is in good vintage order. The gilding is worn and dulled down over time which looks amazing. The glass is free from cracks or chips but there is some foxing to the reverse which makes for an interesting look but renders that section of the mirror unusable.
Measuring: 31cm high x 19cm wide x 19cm deep (when standing).
