Antique Gilt Bronze Rococo Style Vanity Mirror
Recently picked up in Arles in Provence.
Signed in many parts with foundry mark ‘C.D'.’
Thick, original bevelled glass.
Naturalistic, swirling rococo style decoration.
Good quality, crisp casting.
It is in good vintage order. The gilding is worn and dulled down over time which looks amazing. The glass is free from cracks or chips but there is some foxing to the mirror but not enough to block the reflection.
Measuring: 41cm high x 24cm wide x 14cm deep.
