Antique Rustic Wooden Circular ‘Cricket’ Table
Of simple form with a four-plank circular oak top over a simple apron peg joined with three quad-form tapering legs.
A lovely rich patina to the oak with rich golden tones.
Would work well as either a small dining table or as a side or lamp table.
Picked up on the Welsh/English border so could conceivably be Welsh or from Herefordshire in England.
Probably dating dating from the late 18th century circa 1780-1800.
It is in untouched country house condition, it is solid and sturdy, there is wear throughout commensurate with age and the odd old repair but nothing seriously wrong.
Measuring 72cm in diameter x 73cm high.
