Provincial oak low table originating from France in the 18th century.
At some point, probably during the 20th century, it was converted from a taller table to make a low coffee table.
Drawer to one side with original turned wood handle.
With peg-joined construction and cleated ends to the top.
Simple stylish timeless lines with wonderfully rich and characterful honey-coloured oak.
It is in very good vintage condition, it is solid and sturdy, and cosmetically it is full of imperfections from centuries of use which add to its charm and tell its story.
Measuring 115cm wide x 72cm deep x 48cm high.
