Antique Carved Mahogany Barley Twist Column Torchere, 19th Century Victorian Plant Stand Plinth

£0.00

Antique Torchiere

Of unusual proportions with an oversized barely-twist stem over a bulbous carved section terminating with a tripod base with cabriole legs and slipper feet.

A circular top which could be used to display any number of items, lamps, candelabra, houseplant of sculpture etc.

Carved from mahogany with a wonderfully rich patina.

Dating from the 19th Century Victorian period.

It is in very good vintage condition, at some point one of the legs has been repaired but this appears to be sturdy and secure. There is some cosmetic wear commensurate with age.

Measuring 115cm high x 48cm wide x 43cm deep. The diameter of the top is 22cm.

Delivery is £60 to the majority of the mainland UK, for those in remote areas of the UK or for international enquiries please ask for a tailored quote.
