Antique Lacquered Campaign Chest of Drawers
Traditional Japanese travelling merchants storage.
Dating to the late Meiji period c. 1910.
Made from lacquered cedar with decorative wrought iron handles, escutcheons and edge protectors.
In good vintage condition, it is solid and sturdy, the drawers work as they should and all the hardware is present. The surface is worn in places as can be seen in the photographs but this adds to its charm.
Measuring: 105.5cm high x 84cm wide x 39cm deep.
