French Farmhouse Hanging Salt/Butter/Flour Storage

Originating from the Loire Valley.
This would have originally hung above a work table in a French country kitchen. Each storage hole would have had either salt, butter or flour inside, at easy reach for the baker to reach up and grab.
It is also surrounded by holes to hang utensils from.
Lovingly hand-carved on both sides with flowers, hearts and other stylised decoration.
Originally dating from the 18th century, with some later additions.
It is in good vintage condition, it has suffered from woodworm over the years, the majority of this is on the base section. We have sprayed this with a non-toxic treatment but depending on what use you would like to use it for it can be treated further.
Measuring: 171cm long x 25cm deep x 66cm high.
