Vintage Mid-Century Original Oil on Board Painting

This celebratory snapshot in time is depicted against the backdrop of a wooden walled room with an abundant fruit bowl on a kitchen table and a charming landscape painting on the wall.

Painted in a naive, folk art style which is totally charming.

Dating to the 1960s-1970s period.

Signed to the lower right ‘P. Wealand’.

The painting largely survives however the dark areas have bubbled slightly as can happen to inexperienced artists’ oil paintings. There is a little wear, mainly around the edges. Please see the photos.
