Painted confidently in a romantic impressionist style.

The painting probably dates from the early 20th century, circa 1900-1910.

Framed in an earlier and highly decorative gilt French Empire style frame decorated with swan motifs which dates from the 19th century

The painting itself is in good vintage condition, there don’t appear to be any issues with the image. The canvas has been later laid to board. The frame is worn in places and there are some losses but we think this adds to its decorative appeal.

Overall measurements 57cm x 49cm x 6cm.
