Primitive Antique Jug/Ewer

Handmade from a number of metals with a hand-hammered copper main body dovetailed with a brass base and wrought iron handle.

A hugely decorative piece with great presence and form.

Probably dates from the early 19th century and originates from the Ottoman Empire in modern-day Turkey.

It is in good vintage condition, there is no serious damage but there is wear and imperfections throughout which add to its charm.

Approximate measurements 23cm high x 19cm wide x 17cm deep.
