Vintage Original Oil on Canvas Painting

Depicting an abstraction on the form of a rocky outcrop island in the sea.

Confidently painted in impasto, probably with a palette knife or thick brush and using a simple colour palette of cool blues, dark blue, grey, off white, and mustard yellow.

Signed to the lower right ‘J.G.H. Longmuir’ and dated ‘68’ for 1968.

The painting is in good vintage order with no significant damage or restoration but with some minor wear commensurate with age.
