These were originally used on top of a television set to keep a small amount of background light when watching the TV.
Great for mood lighting.
Our electrician has managed to keep the original bakelite lamp holder and switch and has wired it with black twisted cable. It has been fully safety tested.
It is in good vintage condition. I am wondering if the chain on his collar was originally longer. There is some wear and tear here and there, the only thing I would really point out is a hairline crack on the top of his rear.
