Antique Ceramic Tobbaconist’s Pots with Lids, ‘Tabac, Virginia and Maryland’
Dating from the late 19th Century.
Bought recently in Avignon in Southern France.
White porcelain with gilt edging and hand-painted script. Two in green and one in red.
They have largely stayed intact, the gilding is worn in places and there is the old little chip here and there but nothing too serious.
Each one measures: 22cm high x 9.5cm diameter.
