Pair of Victorian Glass Canisters.
Stunning and rare yellow uranium glass.
Hand blown antique glass where you can see the manufacturing process, beautiful imperfections, bubbles etc. with pontil mark on the base.
A decorative object in their own right, would look fabulous on a shelf or mantlepiece but are also very usable as containers.
Dating from the late 19th/early 20th century.
Measuring 20cm tall and 9cm wide at their widest point.
The canisters are in excellent vintage condition, there are little imperfections from manufacture which add to the overall charm of the piece. I can't find any chips or cracks on the main body of the jars, there is an indent on the base of one of the stoppers but is smooth so I think it was made in manufacture rather than a chip.
