Vintage Swedish Blue Art Glass Bowls

Designed by renowned Swedish glassware designer Sven Palmqvist for Orrefors the 'fuga' range was made using centrifugal force hence the name.

The range was introduced in 1954 and these examples probably date from between then and the 1960s.

The bowls are so stylish with stunning deep blue colouration and simple form. They would grace any collection, would make a great interior design statement or could be used as every day bowls.

This set consists of one Large Bowl and four small ones.

Large bowl measures: 20.5cm diameter X 7cm high.

Small bowl measures: 13cm diameter X 4.5cm high.

The bowls in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. The only thing I would point out is that the larger bowl has an ident on the rim, I'm not sure whether this is a manufacturing fault or if it is for pouring. Please see photos.
