Vintage Ceramic Charger

A large off-white tin glazed pottery charger with snaked handles and a dusky pink glazed armorial crest.

Would work well as a table centrepiece or a could be wall mounted as a display piece.

Unsigned but almost certainly Italian in origin and probably Tuscan.

Probably dating from some point in the 20th century, circa 1930s-1970s.

Overall it is in good vintage condition, there are no serious structural issues, cracks or repairs. There is wear commensurate with age, it is hard to determine whether small pits and grazes in the glaze are original as there is a somewhat rustic feel to the piece, which was probably designed to be like this to a degree but there is some wear to the glaze present.

Approximate measurements: 50cm wide x 50cm deep x 5cm high.
