Antique Novelty Samovar in the Form of Atlas Holding up the Earth
A good quality cast figure depicting Atlas with the world on his shoulders.
Dating from circa 1800-1805.
It is in good vintage order, everything works as it should however I think at some point in its life it has potentially been thrown at someone in a fit of rage. The lid does fit but is slightly askew as is the whole piece slightly bent out of shape. This is part of its story and not really too noticeable when sitting on a shelf but worth pointing out.
Measuring 48cm high x 28cm wide x 33cm deep.
