French Marble Boulangerie Scales, 19th Century
Antique Kitchen Weighing Scales
These would have originally been in a French bakery or patisserie.
The main body is made from white marble with beautiful grey veining.
With brass weighing platforms and trim.
They are hugely decorative whether in a home country kitchen or would also look fab in a delicatessen or bakery.
I wouldn’t say they would be particularly accurate for use today but with a bit of tweaking and calibration, you should be able to get them up and running.
There are a few cracks and chips to the marble here and there but nothing structurally serious and other than a bit of wear and tear on the brass they are in pretty good shape considering age/use.
Measuring: 58cm wide x 26cm deep x19cm high.
