Antique Hand Painted and Gilt Ebonised Serving Tray
Previously featured in Homes & Antiques magazine this is a stunning tray, for me it has just the right ratio of wear to original paintwork. Suitable as a decorative object on a side featuring a collection or indeed for a cocktail party in the garden.
Probably made from tin which has been ebonised which has been hand decorated with gilt foliage and small peachy red flowers.
The tray is sound and sturdy as it should be but as mentioned previously is worn in places as can be seen from photographs. We think this adds to the overall aesthetic.
Measuring: 77cm long X 60cm wide X 3cm high.
