Vintage Ojibwe Beaded Moose Skin Moccasins - 1950s Leather First Nation Ojibwa Native American Art 3

Vintage Ojibwe Beaded Moose Skin Moccasins - 1950s Leather First Nation Ojibwa Native American Art 3

£0.00

Traditional Ojibway Tribal Shoes With Floral Bead Detailing

Originating from the Ojibwe (Ojibwa) people from what is currently Southern Canada and the North Mid-Western United States.

Handmade from smoked moose leather with fur trim.

Hand-beaded by an Ojibway artist in the floral style typical of the classic Eastern Woodlands style.

They are in good vintage condition but in worn condition, the beadwork is all present. The only thing to point out is on the balls of the feet the leather has worn through. I would imagine they will be bought by a collector or as a decorative piece but in order to be worn they would need a repair.

Measuring 27cm long x 12cm wide.

Although I would imagine they will be bought by a collector or as a decorative piece they are perfectly wearable and would probably roughly be a size UK women size 6.

Delivery is £10 to Mainland UK. If you live elsewhere please get in touch for an accurate quote. The shipping will automatically be added at check out unless you select collection.
