Antique Sculptural Bust
What a lovely little grand tour type bust which has been carved pretty well after one of the most famous sculptures ever.
He has a bit of age to him and I would say he dates to the late early 20th century and was almost certainly picked up as a souvenir in Italy.
It look great on a mantlepiece, shelf or a cabinet in amongst lots of other interesting bits. We have even put a gold chain on him at one point to bling him up a bit.
There are a few nibbles here and there and the base has broken and been re-stuck at some point but for us these are forgiven. Please see photos.
