The North Eastern Railway (N.E.R.) was incorporated in 1854 and then amalgamated to become the L.N.E.R. in 1923.
They are still usable but very heavy and quite short, the wheels move freely if a little squeaky. There is obvious wear and tear from years and years of use but it makes them what they are. We have left them completely untouched.
Measuring: 90cm high x 55cm wide x 46cm deep.
