Antique African Ritual Dagger
An undulating metal dagger blade with a carved wooden handle in the form of a head.
Bags of character and hugely decorative.
Stood on a custom made stand which could easily be removed without damaging the knife if so desired.
Old collectors label underneath.
Dating from the 19th or possibly early 20th century.
It is in very good vintage condition and is intact with the handle and knife remaining tight. There is obviously patina and wear commensurate with age which makes it what it is and tells its story but nothing serious enough to point out specifically.
Overall measurements 40cm high x 10cm wide x 10cm deep.
