A naive style but executed very well with plenty of feeling.
Depicting a nun preaching from the good book with scorn on her face.
Hand-carved from one piece of wood.
It is in very good vintage condition with some wear and tear as you would expect. The base has had some rot in the past however it has been treated and we have applied a wood hardening product to the affected area which isn’t really noticeable when standing.
Measuring 83cm high x 35cm wide x 30cm deep.
