Tristan Da Cunha is an island slap bang in the middle of the South Atlantic. I would imagine the real fish was caught there and then the angler on return to the UK had this trophy professionally made.
A hugely decorative piece.
It is in excellent vintage condition with only very minor wear and tear.
Overall measurements 86cm wide x 23cm deep x 53cm high.
