Wooden Carving Statue of a Man
Skillfully hand-carved figure depicting a well-dressed man in a hat.
Remnants of original paint and gilding.
There are also the remains of some form of mechanical workings with some metal parts which leads us to believe he was originally an automaton of some kind or possibly part of a larger clock or musical piece.
Probably dating from the 19th century but could quite possibly be earlier.
It is completely untouched original condition. There are missing parts, old woodworm and wear throughout.
Measuring 73cm high x 23cm wide x 12cm deep.
