Constance Nash (1921-2015) was a modern British painter, she studied at Goldsmiths College and later exhibited with a number of societies including the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, The Royal British Society of Artists and The United Society of Artists.

Nash became well known for her style of bold colours applied in rapid brushstrokes, a style which is exemplified in this work.

The painting is in good vintage order with some minor wear commensurate with age.
