Vintage Political Painting Depicting Lenin

Depicting Vladimir Lenin with a raised arm standing on top of a stylised globe.

There is red writing which from my feeble attempts at translation translates from the Bulgarian ‘КЪМ КО МУ НИ ЗЪМ’ to ‘TO WHOM WE KNOW’.

The colour palette is highly decorative with a dusky pink background Lenin himself is gilt with a black outline.

Picked up by the previous owner in Bulgaria.

I would date this to somewhere in the 1920s-1950s period.

In a worn white painted wooden frame.

The glass is in good order and free from cracks or chips. the decoration itself survives well with a small amount of wear and tear as you would expect. As mentioned the frame is worn but we think this adds to its charm.

Overall measurements: 75cm x 56cm.

Delivery is £30 to the Mainland UK. If you live elsewhere please get in touch for an accurate quote. The shipping will automatically be added at check out unless you select collection.
