Dating from the late Qing Dynasty (19th century).
Large-scale ancestor painting depicting at least six generations of a noble Chinese family, both male and female dressed in formal attire.
The paper has been laid onto a silk scroll with ebonised wooden jiku.
It is in good vintage condition, there is some wear commensurate with age but nothing significant enough to detract from the overall look of the painting.
Overall measurements: 229cm x 114cm. The painting measures 174.5cm x 93cm.
