Set of Three Original Oil on Canvas Paintings

Sladden (1933-2020) originally trained as an Architect at the RWA (Royal West of England Academy) he later moved into sculpture and then abstract painting always being influenced by modernist architecture.

He came into prominence in the 1960s with one-man shows at the New Vision Centre Gallery and Alwin Gallery in London and at Arnolfini Gallery, in Bristol, as well as showing with groups around the world including at MoMA, New York.

Formed of irregular and angular almost Matisse cut-out/camouflage shapes in complimentary colours.

In excellent vintage condition with only minor wear and tear please see photos.

Each panel measures: 76cm x 61cm.
