Antique Original Woodblock Print (Ukiyo-e)

An original woodblock print from Japan.

Probably dating from the late 19th century Meiji period, circa c. 1870s-1880s.

Depicting generals and high ranking officials sat in a sumptuous interior all wearing similar military dress uniforms each with different character and expressions.

Framed and glazed in a highly decorative and complimentary red lacquer and parcel-gilt frame.

The print is in good vintage condition with wear commensurate with age.

Overall approximate measurements: 33cm x 28cm x 2cm.
