Antique Oak Cabinet

Made in the US as an in-store advertising piece for hardware stores to store and sell drill bits for ‘The Cleveland Twist Drill Co. Trade Mark, Clevland Ohio U.S.A. New York - Chicago.’ - written in a gilt typeface with a black outline.

Made from oak with its original hardware.

Behind two doors, the top section contains 73 small drawers of differing sizes. Underneath that, there is a drop-down section with 18 small cubby holes and underneath that, there are two larger drawers with sectional inserts.

Dating from the early 20th century, circa 1900.

It is in very good vintage condition with no structural issues and wear consistent with age and use. All drawers, doors etc. work as they should. We have left it in its original condition, there is a naturally worn silver patina to the oak which we think is hugely decorative. This could be waxed or oiled and then polished to personal taste but we would leave it how it is.

Measuring 74cm wide x 33cm deep x 66cm high.
