Antique Arched Overmantle Mirror
An unusual piece recently picked up in Provence in Southern France.
The ebonised wooden frame is slightly worn revealing the wooden tones underneath.
The red velvet edging strip runs all the way around the frame which is intact but is indented in places which gives the effect of crushed velvet.
The original mirror plate itself is foxed, pitted and worn quite uniformly all over to great effect.
Measuring: 97.5cm high x 68cm wide x 4 cm deep.
