Antique Silver Plated Ostrich Sculpture With Genuine Ostrich Egg

A heavy, well-made piece depicting an ostrich in a naturalistic setting walking underneath.

A genuine ostrich egg balances on top of the largest palm. I am not sure if these two originally came together but it’s how it came to me and think it works really well.

The metalwork is in good condition. The silver plating has rubbed over time and is also dull. I really like the way this looks as it is and would personally leave it as it is but it could be replated if you want a bright shiny silver. The egg is in eggcellent condition (couldn’t resist sorry).

Overall measurements: 51cm high x 25cm wide x 22cm deep.
